Hunger games By Suzanne Collins

Summary-In a dark vision of the near future, a terrifying reality TV show is taking place. Twelve boys and twelve girls are forced to appear in a live event called the Hunger Games. There is only one rule: kill or be killed.When sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen steps forward to take her sister's place in the games, she sees it as a death sentence. But Katniss has been close to death before. For her, survival is second nature.

My favorite quote(s):
1) I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute.

2)Here's some advice. Stay alive.

3)May the odds be ever in your favor!

(I know I only ever pick one favorite quote, but this book just had so many!!!!!!)

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I've said to a few people that if I could, I'd have to marry this book. :) THE HUNGER GAMES is a fantastic, breathless and somewhat brutal read that once you start you simply can’t put down again. At first I had no idea what this book was about or what to expect in terms of YA writing, it had just been recommended to me by so many people and had such a buzz surrounding it that I had to find out for myself why.

Allow me to rant for a second : oh my god, this book is outstanding. I love Katniss!!! I loved Peeta!!! I love this world that Suzanne Collins has created!!! At times I found myself wishing I lived in this world( even though that may not be a smart or reasonable idea)

Once you start this book it is impossible to put back down. I remember carrying this book with me every where I went. I remember staying up till 5 am and not noticing because I wanted so badly to know what would happen at the end.
This book is a definite 5 out of 5
